Cemeteries

The 499 people listed on this website represent those listed on the World War One Roll of Honor at the Soldiers’ Memorial Institute, Pall Mall Bendigo who paid the ultimate sacrifice in World War One. Their graves, and memorials to their loss, are located in 158 cemeteries in Australia, Belgium, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, South Africa, Syria and Turkey. With the exception of five graves in Bendigo, all other graves and memorials are cared for by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
